This activity involved learning about how to be a successful life-long learner, and gave seven and a half habits one should have to be a life-long learner. The easiest habit for me would be to teach/mentor others. I am currently in my 4th year of teaching. Before I was teaching, I was tutoring students and working with students in a summer program. As I worked with students, I grew in my knowledge of math, technology, teaching strategies, and more. I also have the opportunity to mentor students by sponsoring Future Teachers of America at the school I teach, which allows me to share my experiences with others.
The hardest habit for me would be to view problems as challenges. Usually while the situation is going on, I just want it to be resolved. Only later do I think of it as a learning experience.
It was nice to be able to read and hear the presentation, and it was very easy to follow.

I am in total agreeement with your hardest habit. I allow myself to get very frustrated when I can't figure something out right away. I always thought of myself as a patient person, but it seems as I get older, my patience is wearing thinner, lol.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about patience! Thanks for commenting!
